Ashanti Thomas
I'm a 22-year-old photographer based in Illinois, growing up and living in Urbana, IL. I started with film photography and developing my own photos in high school and have fell in love since. I recently graduated from Eastern Illinois University and obtained my Bachelor of Science in digital media technology.
I have been a Photo Editor for the Daily Eastern News since my sophomore year at EIU and have won various awards for my photos in different competitions such as five 1st place awards.
I love shooting all aspects of photography but I specialize in photojournalism, events, concerts + entertainment, sports, and portraits.
